Title: Office Specialist

Position Overview

At Family Urgent Care and OnCall Employee Health, we are always seeking full-time and part time Office Specialists who are energetic and positive team members. This position is more than just a “receptionist” or “front desk” and is the first and last impression that our patients have of us. We treat those who visit us as valued patients rather than just another number, and look for individuals with strong customer service skills as well as technical job accuracy to become Office Specialists. This position is right for someone who has high energy, attention to detail, compassion and empathy for others and who can multitask so that the job gets done while always focusing on the customer first.

The position of Office Specialist is fast-paced and requires a wide skill set that includes being able to:

  • Follow oral and written instructions and be able to articulate questions when necessary.
  • Ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
  • Maintain a high level of energy, accuracy, dependability and friendliness even in high stress or emergency situations.
  • Multi-task with checking in patients properly, utilizing the necessary technology to prepare patient charts, working with the nursing staff and providers to transition them from the waiting room to the treatment room, entering and recording information accurately, answering phone calls and questions.
  • Time management, organizational and communication skills.
  • Document events and interactions appropriately.
  • Be detail oriented and hard-working.

Job Duties

  • Welcoming patients upon arrival at the clinic.
  • Collecting copays and payments.
  • Entering patients into the billing system.
  • Creating and maintaining medical records.
  • Operating standard office equipment.
  • Working closely with the medical staff, patients and leadership team.
  • Answering phones.
  • Efficiently managing patient flow.

Title: Provider (MD, DO, PA-C, APRN)

Position Overview

We are always looking for full-time, part-time and casual Providers who are experienced, energetic and enthusiastic and enjoy working as part of a friendly team. We are proud of our unique environment and choosing to be part of Family Urgent Care and OnCall Employee Health gives you the ability to have a full time job by working 12 long days a month.

When you are off; there are no calls, no prior authorizations, no dictations, no follow-ups or any of the un-fun things that providers have to do in other organizations. When you are in the clinic; you see patients, you chart on paper and you practice the type of medicine that you’ve always wanted to practice.

Job Duties

A Provider must be able to:

Title: LRT/RT

Position Overview

At Family Urgent Care and OnCall Employee Helath, our LRT’s and RT’s are given the opportunity to utilize their skills in a variety of settings. We are looking for LRT’s and RT’s who are passionate not only about X-rays, but also passionate about providing patient care from taking vitals to providing drug tests and who are excited to learn and grow their personal and professional skills as a part of our team.

Job Duties

An LRT/RT must be able to:

  • Provide quality customer service and care to our patients.
  • Work as a positive and energetic member of our team.
  • Communicate effectively with others.
  • Be willing to grow personally and professionally through new education and experiences.
  • Know how to use clinical X-Ray systems with CR processors.
  • Maintain X-Ray files and records of all patients using X-Rays.
  • Obtain quality X-Rays using correct position and proper labeling of X-Rays.
  • Implement safety procedures for patients, self and staff to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation.
  • Collect specimens for lab tests, and perform/report results of lab testing.
  • Be inspired to step-up in regards to organizational innovation.
  • Affect positive change in yourself and team.

In addition to traditional LRT/RT duties:

  • Room patients and take vitals.
  • Assist with minor procedures.
  • Obtain medication aide certification.
  • Learn and assist in our occupational medicine division (OnCall Employee Health).
  • Administer drug tests and take vitals for pre-employment physicals.
  • Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug screens after satisfactory Training.
  • Perform Breath Alcohol testing after satisfactory training.
  • Perform air follicle test after satisfactory training.

Nurses (RN, LPN, EMT, MA, LRT, RT)
